Beaver Manufacturing Company, Inc. Grows with New Plant in Mexico

Plant to Expand Market Position in Mexico and South America

MANSFIELD, GA, USA, November 20, 2017 – Today, BEAVER MANUFACTURING COMPANY
INC. (BMC), the largest supplier of technical fiber reinforcements for hoses in North America, announced plans for expanding their global presence with the opening of a new plant in Tepeji, Mexico. The new plant will position the company to increase their converting capacity of meta- and para-aramid, rayon, and polyester products that support automotive, oil and gas, and other industrial applications in Mexico and South America. The headquarters and main facility in Mansfield, Georgia will continue to operate in its full capacity. The addition of the new Mexico plant will complement operations at the main facility without disruption and help BEAVER MANUFACTURING efficiently handle projections for growth.

“With major growth projected in Mexico and South America for the automotive, and oil and gas industries, the new plant will be in a prime location in Mexico for expanding our aramid product market,“ said Mike Dubin, Sr. Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Beaver Manufacturing. Aramid fibers are a class of heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibers that provide high strength to weight ratios with greater flexibility not available in steel wire.The new plant will be headed by General Manager, Mr. Enrique Quirarte, who has 13 years of experience in sales and marketing. He has managed sales force teams in Mexico and
South America. More specifically, Mr. Quirarte has specialized in working in the aramid market.
